Job Title:  Marketing Intern

Location:  Sterling, CO

Job summary:

The incumbent will perform a wide variety of specialized activities and will provide project support to the Marketing Officer of First FarmBank.  He/she will work closely with the Marketing Officer content creation for marketing campaigns and customer communications. This position requires a detail-oriented self-starter, who is resourceful, professional, and tactful and who possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer and builds customer relationships that support the bank’s strategic plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Marketing Officer in all stages of marketing campaigns and helps develop, expand and maintain marketing materials.

  • Generates content marketing materials as part of both a short- and long-term marketing schedule.

  • Coordinates marketing strategies such as email campaigns, managing website content (Facebook, Twitter, etc), special offers, media advertising, and assisting with special projects.   

  • Assists in strategic planning for marketing department.

  • Prepares proposals, researches marketing needs and helps in hosting events as necessary.

  • Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics.

  • Adherence to Bank Secrecy Act and Compliance Policy requirements and procedures as appropriate for these duties and responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:  Enrollment in an Associate’s degree (A.A.) program or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or higher is preferred; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
